Recently, we supported a family of six who had just moved into their own rental home. One parent was managing health issues that limited their ability to work, while the other was unemployed. At the same time, one of their children had recently been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
With four children to care for and limited income, the family struggled to cover essential expenses. Through the Lumenus Resiliency Fund, they received support for school supplies, clothing, footwear, and a portion of their rent, helping to ease immediate financial pressures.
This assistance provided much-needed stability during a difficult time, allowing the family to focus on caring for their children and moving forward with greater confidence.
