About This Service
LIFT helps youths living with mental-health or substance-use challenges explore meaningful work, education, and training opportunities.

Finding the right work
Through our Central Toronto Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO), an employment and education specialist will work with them one-on-one to get the unique support they need:
- career exploration
- job searching
- education planning
- training
- employer connections
Our process stays grounded in real-world realities and guidance – it’s based on the Individual Placement & Support Program model. And it allows us to help youths find lasting opportunities that match their strengths and goals ubhead 2: Staying employed
The support they get doesn’t stop once a job or program is found. We stay with them as they join the workforce, giving them ongoing guidance and helping remove barriers to keep them on track. They can also access weekly drop-in support through The Studio, providing another place to ask questions, stay connected, and get the support they need.
