Day Program Education and Community Partnership

Lumenus’ Day Program Education and Community Partnership provides children and youth ages 3.8–18 with therapeutic and educational support to help them build skills, experience success at school and work towards their goals.

About This Service

When mental health, developmental, social, emotional or behavioural challenges make it difficult for a child or youth to succeed in a typical classroom, more specialised support can help.

Lumenus’ Day Program Education and Community Partnership provides children and youth ages 3.8–18 with a supportive learning environment that combines therapeutic programming with an academic component.

Delivered in partnership with the Toronto District School Board, the program supports children and youth with mental health concerns, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, social, emotional or behavioural challenges, or complex special needs.

Through therapeutic and educational support tailored to their needs, children and youth are supported to build skills, experience success and work towards their goals at school and beyond.
